The CircleUp Wizard
- Write an introduction and a question or a request just like you would in a normal email. The Question will appear as the subject line of your email.
- You can add attachments or links for your group to reference.
- You can tag the question with keywords so you can organize and find your CircleUps later.

 |
- The AnswerPattern you choose will determine how the Results page will look.
- Each AnswerPattern is very powerful and ensures you will get the information you have requested. You'll need to enter the details of the choices you want your group to see.
- You can click Preview to see what each recipient will see when they look open your CircleUp.
Simple AnswerPatterns, like Choices, Rate, Rank, True/False and Yes/No let you gather quick responses from your Circle on the topic of your choice, using the answers you provide.
Detailed AnswerPatterns, like Provide Suggestionsallow you to get unique information from everybody. These types of CircleUps cannot always be summarized because each answer can be different.
- Provide Suggestions lets your Circle enter their own text concerning a request, as well as attach pictures, files, photos or web links.
- Rows and Columns lets you have up to 150 possible answers to give you a lot of space for detail. You can ask for number input, text or simple 'x's to designate choices.
- Send Me Your Contact Info will enable your Circle to create an invitation list , membership list or roster that everyone can then access and/or export to Excel or into Microsoft Outlook.

The final step is selecting who will receive your CircleUp.
- The first time you use CircleUp, you'll be able to enter addresses and create your first Circle.
- The next time you send a CircleUp, you'll see your first Circle on the 'CircleTop' - this looks like a Windows or Mac desktop with an icon representing each individual group of users - a Circle.
- To add members to a Circle or create a new Circle, just click Add.
- To select a Circle, just click the icon to highlight it. The yellow highlight means that all the members of that Circle will receive the CircleUp.
- To select only specific members, double-click the icon, then select the members you want using the checkboxes, and click OK. You will see the icon highlighted in blue, meaning only some of the members will receive the CircleUp.
- You can control the visibility of the CircleUp Results here, too - make the question Public so anyone can see it, Private so only the recipients can see it, or Personal so only you can see the results. You can also hide everyone's detailed answer with Share Summary Only. If the CircleUp is Public or Private, people can only see the Summary results, not everyone's detailed response or comments. Details will always be visible to you as the author.
- If you want recipients to forward the question to other people, choose 'Please Forward' - you'll get answers from people outside your Circle.
